DM5 Drop Off

Postby Triple H » Mon Sep 29, 2008 9:29 pm

I have a DM5 that will shoot great for a while and then have sudden drop off issues. The marker will be shooting 275 consistantly when it suddenly starts droping off to 250, 225, 200, 170, and so on until it just won't shoot anymore. After waiting some time, the marker will begin shooting again. It has been suggested that I relube the bolt and reset the LPR. I have done both but had little luck in correcting the problem. Anyone have any other suggestions. I am hoping to have this resolved quickly since the Woodsball Tournament League is right around the corner.

yah sorry for the late reply but yah you should lube your bolt but also go to a paintball shop to get a run through of your gun and get a full inspection. It'll cost about $25 bucks but its worth it.

Thanks for the feedback. It turns out that the HPR was sticking. I took it appart and cleaned it really good. Some fresh grease, and it was back to functioning properly.
